Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

1. Scope and provider

These terms of use apply to the use of the BeachTreff app. The provider is the person named in the Imprint. By registering, you accept these terms.

2. BeachTreff’s service

BeachTreff is purely an intermediary platform. The app lets users organise beach volleyball sessions, take part, exchange information and access details about courts and news. BeachTreff is not the organiser of the sessions and not a party to the arrangements made between users.

3. Personal responsibility and liability at sessions

Sessions take place on the participants’ own responsibility and at their own risk. BeachTreff accepts no liability for the conduct, safety or course of sessions, in particular not for personal injury or property damage, injuries, accidents, disputes, parking or court matters, or the behaviour of individual participants. Each participant is responsible for their own physical fitness. Court bookings and any costs are arranged by the users among themselves or with the respective court operator.

4. User obligations

You undertake to provide truthful information, comply with applicable laws and observe the Community guidelines. It is prohibited to post unlawful, offensive, discriminatory or misleading content, create fake sessions, spam or misuse the app.

5. Content and provider rights

You are responsible for the content you post (sessions, posts, comments, profile details). The provider is entitled to remove content that violates these terms or the community guidelines and to suspend users temporarily or permanently. You can use the report and block functions to flag misuse or protect yourself.

6. Commitment and no-shows

Confirmations to sessions are binding. Cancellations should be made in good time. Cancelling less than 3 hours before the start, or failing to show up, may negatively affect the reliability shown in your profile.

7. Account and termination

Use is free of charge. You can end your account at any time without giving reasons in the app under Profile → Delete account. The provider may terminate the usage relationship in the event of serious or repeated violations.

8. Limitation of liability

Except for damage arising from injury to life, body or health and in cases of intent or gross negligence, the provider is liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. No guarantee is given for the constant availability of the app.

9. Changes

These terms may be adjusted where necessary for legal or functional reasons. We will inform you of material changes in an appropriate manner.

10. Applicable law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
