Playing beach volleyball in Berlin – where and when

Berlin has more than a dozen venues, and BeachTreff meetups take place all over the city. The court is named in every row of the table.

• Free courts. Volkspark Friedrichshain and Marzahn – no booking, no court fee.
• Large outdoor sites. Beach Mitte, Beach61 at Gleisdreieck, East61 and Funkhaus on the river Spree.
• Indoor halls for the winter. Play carries on inside during the cold season, so the meetups run all year round.

Does it cost anything?

The app is free. Whether the court costs anything is shown with each meetup – free courts cost nothing, while indoor and booked courts are usually split between the players.

I do not have a team. Can I still play?

Yes, that is exactly what BeachTreff is for. You sign up on your own and teams are formed on site. Each meetup shows how many spots are left.

Which level are the meetups for?

All of them. Every meetup carries a level from beginner to advanced so that the games are a good match.

How do I create my own meetup?

In the app, open “Meetups” and tap the plus: choose court, time, level and number of players. Your meetup shows up in this table within minutes.

Is this only for Berlin?

This table shows Berlin. In the app you can create and find meetups in any city.
